The salary for this position is estimated at $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and education.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Norridge, IL. As a School Psychologist with ProCare Therapy, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, interventions, and support to students in a school setting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized assessment plans to identify student strengths and needs
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to students, including social-emotional support and behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs and Section 504 plans
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments to measure student progress
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and any areas of concern
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
