Salary InformationThe salary for this position is estimated at $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and education.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Norridge, IL. As a School Psychologist with ProCare Therapy, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, interventions, and support to students in a school setting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized assessment plans to identify student strengths and needs
- Provide counseling and therapy services to students, including social-emotional support and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs and Section 504 plans
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments to measure student progress
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and any areas of concern
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
