About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Tacoma, WA. This is a PRN opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting, working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing primary and specialty care to patients with acute and chronic conditions
  • Conducting thorough medical histories and physical examinations
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering therapies
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Washington State licensure in good standing with no restrictions
  • DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
