Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience working on pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Additionally, knowledge of basic electrical concepts and circuit design is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain all facilities and production equipment in a safe, efficient, and quality-conscious manner.
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, maintain, and lock out equipment as necessary.
  • Work closely with peers, supervisors, and production employees to make adjustments and repairs as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks, calibrations, and adjustments to optimize operation or performance.
  • Troubleshoot, disassemble, and inspect equipment to determine the cause of improper operation or machine stoppages.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing, production, or fulfillment environment.
  • Strong mechanical, electronic, and computer skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand detailed repair and instruction manuals.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and documentation best practices.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms. Ability to access equipment for repair and maintenance may require crawling, bending, or lying underneath equipment.

Able to work at heights up to 35 feet on a scissor lift wearing a safety harness. Must possess physical ability to move equipment and frequently required to climb a ladder or work at heights.

$68,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Estimated salary based on national averages and industry standards.
