About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Lead Specialist to join our team at MFS Investment Management. This role will play a critical part in supporting our attorneys with their work on investment advisory and retail distribution matters, as well as MFS retirement plan and welfare benefit plan matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and take responsibility for the filing of MFS's Form ADV, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle projects and other regulatory filings related to MFS's investment advisory and retail distribution business, including reviewing and revising documents as needed.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on matters related to the MFS retirement plans and welfare plan, including ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Create plan-related documents, such as Summary Plan Descriptions for MFS retirement plans, and revise as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years' work experience with 5-6+ years of legal or regulatory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technological systems employed by MFS.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees and outside parties at all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
