Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at Volt Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our financial operations department, you will be responsible for performing various accounting functions including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.

About the Role:

  • Invoice sales orders and process AP and AR invoices with high accuracy.
  • Receive and process incoming payments from diverse sources such as checks, wire transfers, credit card payments, and electronic payments.
  • Audit payments to ensure correct application to customer accounts in the accounting system.
  • Identify and promptly resolve payment discrepancies or issues.
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts and investigate variances to maintain financial integrity.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Tact and courtesy when interacting with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Mastery of basic math, attention to detail, and organizational capabilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High school diploma required; additional education may be advantageous.

Compensation: This position offers a competitive hourly rate between $23.00-$25.00. Compensation is based on factors including education, work experience, location, job duties, certifications, and other qualifications.
