About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team on a 13-week contract in Clyde, North Carolina.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and performing imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in CT scanning
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CT scanning or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Our benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
