Job Description

The Flight Paramedic (Critical Care Transport Specialist) will be responsible for:

  • Providing advanced life support care to patients during medical emergencies;
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of patient care;
  • Participating in ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences to maintain competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills;
  • Assisting in pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot assistance when needed;
  • Conducting aircraft safety briefings as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Three years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting;
  • Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area;
  • NREMT-P certification in state(s) where required;
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status;
  • Prior flight experience preferred.
