Job Description

Topcon Healthcare is currently seeking a talented Business Intelligence Developer to join our corporate IT department. This role involves building and maintaining business reports, managing our Data Warehouse, and helping with integrations between systems.

A successful candidate will have experience in extracting data from disparate sources and creating reports and models based on business requirements.

  • Translate business needs/requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with internal users to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Work with multiple data sources (including legacy data sources) to ensure accuracy.
  • Understand general CRM core modules in Sales (Opportunities, Contracts, etc.)
  • Design and build BI solutions that enable the business to make informed decisions.
  • Work with integration tools to ensure timely data updates.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors on larger projects to meet business needs.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Report Developer or BI Developer working with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Background in data warehouse design (dimensional modeling, data mining, etc)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Data Architectures (MS SQL Server, Databricks, Data Fabric)
  • Hands-on experience with BI technologies such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SSMS, and other database platforms and tools
  • Experience with SAP By Design is a plus.
  • Must be enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Tools.
Qualifications

You must hold a B.S. in Business/Accounting/Information Systems or a related degree.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Topcon offers a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, tax-saving spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and other perks and benefits. Our employees are eligible for paid company holidays, paid personal time off, and paid sick time that meets or exceeds state/local requirements.
