Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Professional Staff Nurse. This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading with independence, and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Balance work and personal life, modeling safe work hours, time management, and a healthy lifestyle.
  • Identify workplace safety hazards and communicate them to peers and management.
  • Apply adult learning principles in teaching patients, families, students, and new staff, guiding them through care transitions.
  • Support professional development of students, new staff, and colleagues, possibly serving as a preceptor.
  • Use the nursing process and critical thinking to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
  • Demonstrate solid communication and comprehensive documentation, enhancing caregiver collaboration.
  • Actively participate in shared governance, goal setting, and quality improvement efforts to enhance patient care and the work environment.
  • Utilize research and evidence-based practice to improve clinical care and patient satisfaction.

This is a full-time position offering flexible shift options, including night/weekend programs with premium pay. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse active license.
  • BLS or CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Act 33,34,73 clearances.
