We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to join our team at Pathfinder Services.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will provide individualized support and guidance to residents, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing instructional training to residents, focusing on household and communication skills for independent living.
  • Collecting performance data and monitoring household training programs to ensure optimal progress.
  • Supervising and assisting residents in completing daily routine household chores and meal management, adhering to Long Term Care regulations.

This position requires a set schedule due to the 24-hour operation of the facility, with varying days off and flexible scheduling.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
