Job Summary

Prometric is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to administer the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Exam in a long-term care setting. As a Nurse Aide Evaluator Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality test experience for candidates and clients.

About the Role

This role involves evaluating candidate skills, proctoring computerized knowledge-based examinations, and observing and scoring candidates demonstrating clinical skills. You will also be responsible for preparing for events, monitoring rosters, and controlling the test area to ensure a seamless candidate experience.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Candidate Skills: Assess candidate performance in a simulated clinical environment.
  • Test Event Delivery & Security: Prepare for events, monitor rosters, and control the test area to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Greet Examinees and Verify Identification: Welcome examinees, verify their identification, and ensure they have the necessary materials.
  • Monitor Candidates: Supervise candidates as they complete their written exam and/or direct a proctor to administer the written exam if applicable.
  • Manage Testing Environment: Maintain a working knowledge of Prometric policies and practices to ensure a smooth testing experience.
  • Resolve Candidate Issues: Address any issues or concerns that arise during the testing process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Registered Nurse license in the state of operation.
  • One year of experience in long-term care or caring for chronically ill patients.
  • Intermediate to advanced technical skills and familiarity with computer programs and applications.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Job Requirements

You must be able to:

  • Travel 30 miles or more one way from your zip code.
  • Stand for extended periods while administering exams and evaluating candidates.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, such as a testing mannequin.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on location and experience.
