As a QIDP surveyor, you will be part of a collaborative team of public servants who protect residents' health and safety by conducting on-site inspections and investigations. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the compliance of intermediate care facilities with state and federal laws and rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site licensure inspections, complaint and incident investigations, and annual comprehensive surveys to determine compliance with federal and state health and safety regulations.
- Communicate clearly and accurately with others to provide, exchange, or verify information, answer inquiries, or resolve issues or complaints regarding services provided in intermediate care facilities.
- Complete inspection or survey reports detailing deficiencies, recommended remedies, and narratives to support regulatory findings.
Requirements:
- You must successfully complete state and federal training and become qualified to conduct surveys independently within the first year of hire.
