Job Description

We are seeking a Fine Art Graphic Artist who is passionate about art and wants to be part of building the best art company in the world. The successful candidate will have a growth mindset, support their team, and have the desire and ambition to learn leadership.

This role is unique in the field of Graphic Artist, requiring both traditional Graphic Design skills and a focus on Fine Art development, manipulation, and file setup. You will create daily for leading retailers, interior design firms, purchasing groups, and hotel brands.

The Graphic Artist will work in an environment where each day is different due to the fast pace and simultaneous management of multiple projects. You will collaborate with internal and external constituents, accurately interpreting art direction to achieve a desired aesthetic in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Art Development and Cataloging
  • Collaborating with Business Development, Art Consultants, and Project Managers to develop imagery for client presentations and specifications
  • Creating new artwork for upcoming product releases at the instruction of the Director of Creative
  • Interpreting and translating art direction from internal and external customers to produce the desired aesthetic accurately and efficiently
  • Prioritizing projects to ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Filing and storing items for future use and manipulation
  • Graphic Image and Color Manipulation
  • Manipulating color, imagery, composition, and sizing of existing products for custom requests
Requirements

We are looking for candidates who want to support the Company in our journey to make Wendover The Source for Art. A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or a similarly related field is required, as well as 2+ years of experience in a design-focused role.

A commitment to excellence and a passion for doing things right all the time are essential. Strong time management skills and the ability to work under multiple competing deadlines are also necessary.

A salary of $60,000-$80,000 per year is estimated based on industry standards.
