Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Ochsner Health. This role will provide administrative support to our laboratory department, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including doctors, nurses, and patients.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of laboratory reports and results.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, including patient information and laboratory results.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of laboratory tests and results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a medical office or laboratory setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
