Job Title: Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

Cole Engineering Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a test environment for a complex virtualized system architecture in a next generation training platform for a future Department of Defense (DoD) training environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2019 Domain Controllers, including DNS, DHCP scopes, Users and Computers, and NPS.
  • Develop and implement PowerShell scripts to modify and apply changes to the system.
  • Assist in planning, testing, and implementing new security technologies and security configurations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues using event viewer or log analysis.
  • Coordinate with vendors, team members, developers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Create documentation and diagrams to reflect updates for systems already in place and environments still in the design phase.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as IT, computer science, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • 8570 Compliant IAT Level II or greater. Security+, CISSP or other equivalent certification required.
  • Advanced knowledge in Windows Servers 2019 Domain Controllers and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks on demand.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong testing experience.
  • Strong Linux support skills.
  • Familiarity with Ansible and Chocolatey Software.
  • VMWare applications knowledge.
  • Basic Networking using Cisco devices.

Security Clearance:

Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance.
