About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Supply Chain Executive to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations at Vericel Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Senior Supply Chain Executive will be responsible for directing all aspects of our supply chain, including material planning, purchasing, raw material distribution, staff management, and warehousing.

This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization. The successful candidate will develop departmental objectives and procedures, manage relationships with key suppliers, and ensure cGMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Develop strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and improve order fulfillment while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Supplier Management: Define and implement global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and External Supply Chain key practices and systems to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional service to internal and external partners.
  • Overall Management: Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, and provide leadership on cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in production operations management or related field.
  • Supply Chain Management certification(s) (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, SCOR-P, CPM, etc.).
  • Minimum 10 years practical experience in Materials Planning and Purchasing.
  • Minimum 5 years of organizational leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated record of career progression within the field.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range is based on national averages for similar positions in the industry.
