MES Manufacturing Systems Specialist

At Glow Networks, we are seeking a highly skilled MES Manufacturing Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for documenting manufacturing processes, creating functional documentation for MES programs, and acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for technical teams.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in Traksys MES application and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience to drive process improvements and system adoption. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of MES solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesSome of your key responsibilities will include:
- Process Documentation
- Document AS-IS and To-Be Processes: Collaborate with stakeholders to map current manufacturing processes and document how MES is currently being utilized. Define the desired future state processes and workflows for MES.
- Capture Process Flow Diagrams: Document interface points, data exchanges, and system interactions across the MES ecosystem.
- Functional Documentation for MES Program
- Create Functional Specifications: Develop comprehensive functional specifications and documentation for MES systems, including workflows, data requirements, interface specifications, and system configurations.
- Develop User Manuals: Create user manuals, system guides, and other relevant documentation for system users and administrators.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Serve as SME: Provide insights and guidance on best practices for implementing MES solutions based on deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and MES functionalities.
- Provide Training: Offer training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on MES processes, system features, and functionalities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree: In Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a strong focus on manufacturing processes and MES systems.
