Job Summary

The Electrophysiology Technologist is a key member of the EP Lab team, responsible for supporting the medical staff and charge nurse in delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with a focus on electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate clinical and computer equipment for patient care in the EP Lab.
  • Provide technical support for electrophysiological recording systems, cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, and other equipment.
  • Assist with invasive EP procedures, including scrubbing in and providing patient care.
  • Support education and consultation for other healthcare team members.
  • Maintain equipment and inventory, ensuring proper preventive and corrective maintenance.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • 2 years of clinical experience in electrophysiology or catheterization lab.
  • Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT certification required.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
