Your Role
We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our System of Care, responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of clients throughout their rehabilitation journey. This position offers a unique opportunity to positively influence the lives of those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor client progress.
  • Collaborate as a member of the Treatment Team.
  • Oversee medication management and provide training to staff on medication protocols.
  • Implement Universal Precautions to maintain a safe environment.
  • Facilitate health education sessions covering general health and medication interactions.
  • Observe and evaluate clients for clinical signs and symptoms, adhering to prescribed treatment plans.
  • Develop and execute specific protocols as directed by the physician.

Professional Standards
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you are expected to uphold the privacy of all client information in accordance with our policies and applicable laws. Maintaining a respectful and professional relationship with clients and colleagues is paramount.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Kentucky.
  • Preferred: 2 or more years of nursing experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in substance abuse treatment.
