Paralegal Professional

CivicMinds, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in various legal matters, including litigation, corporate law, and real estate law.

• Perform legal research and identify relevant judicial decisions, statutes, and legal articles.
• Work with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and other case filings.
• Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence briefs, and appendices.
• Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Review and finalize legal forms and documents for accuracy.
• Create and maintain a case management database.
• Prepare written reports.
• Maintain a law library.
• Perform administrative duties, including calendar hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics.

• Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies or J.D. required.
• Significant experience with law and motion, discovery, deposition, and trial-related work.
• Experience with litigation calendaring and state and appellate court filings in multiple jurisdictions.
• Real estate law experience preferred.
• Experience in billing, customer service, accounting, or other related fields.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Must be detail-oriented.
