Job Title: Admissions Representative

Job Summary:

The Admissions Representative is a key member of our team at Florida Technical College, responsible for promoting our institution as a school of choice to interested candidates. This role involves recruiting functions, attending events, and ensuring candidates are properly informed about our courses and choices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit qualified candidates into our programs
  • Conduct phone calls to prospective students, interviews, and follow-up with applicants
  • Represent the college with professionalism and honesty
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Interview and qualify candidates for admission
  • Assist with enrollment paperwork and follow-up
  • Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities
  • Develop opportunities to identify qualified candidates through referrals and networking

Requirements:

  • Associate degree completed
  • Experience in metrics-driven or customer service environments
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends

Competencies:

  • Strong commitment to education
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software
  • Creative problem-solving and time management skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
