Job Summary

The Flight Supervisor is a critical role within The GEO Group, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all individuals on board our charter aircraft. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the training and supervision of Flight Security Officers to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional charter aircraft services.
  • Monitor the loading and unloading of individuals onto and off the aircraft, ensuring their care and custody is maintained in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Respond to and investigate incidents, preparing thorough reports as necessary.
  • Ensure all required checklists are completed accurately and on time.
  • Perform the duties of a Flight Security Officer as needed, including perimeter security and alarm response.
  • Report any violations of orders or unusual events that threaten the security of the aircraft or endanger life or property.
Requirements
  • Meet all Flight Security Officer qualifications.
  • Be a United States citizen residing in the U.S. and able to obtain visas and inoculations required for international travel.
  • Possess a valid US Passport.
  • Ability to set standards and procedures to establish satisfactory levels of performance, quality, and productivity.
  • Effective personnel interaction, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Sound and effective leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively train staff.
  • Ability to write reports, memoranda, policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Ability to work with computers and necessary software.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to be physically alert on any shift assigned.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required training and certifications.
  • Ability to pass a Company and Federal Client background investigation.
Compensation

$28.20 per hour.
