The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Office Medical Director to lead our Tacoma and Puyallup clinics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of in-office providers, ensuring clinical excellence, and practicing sustainability.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage a team of providers, ensuring they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs
  • Guide and support providers' professional development
  • Partner with the Office Manager to create a collaborative and positive office community
  • Represent One Medical to the local community and manage communication with other districts, regional, and central teams
  • Owning specific office management and HR functions
  • Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treat patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits

You will work closely with our District Medical Director and Operations Partner to solve problems, shape organizational priorities, and continually develop your management and leadership skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
  • Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or have completed a residency program in the last 5 years
  • Minimum of 1 year managing a team of providers
  • Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
  • State licensed in Washington, obtained before your One Medical start date
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
