Director of Operations Job Description

About the Role:

The Director of Operations at LAZ Parking is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial and operational aspects of assigned portfolios. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, client relationships, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and business retention for assigned portfolios.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, manage expenses, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and direct teams of employees to achieve annual and periodic goals.
  • Identify high-potential employees and support the organization's growth.
  • Plan and execute the opening of new locations within assigned portfolios.
  • Prepare and review financial and operational reports.
  • Manage and direct the activities of Facilities Managers and Assistant Managers.
  • Serve as a liaison to parking patrons and stakeholders.
  • Implement and complete projects, programs, and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial management and P&L's.
  • Ability to run monthly client reports and manage client-LAS relationships.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of Multi-Unit Management Experience.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and General Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
