Job Summary:

The Beaufort County School District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced STEM Curriculum Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our instructional services department, this individual will be responsible for leading the implementation of STEM education initiatives across the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement STEM curriculum aligned with state and national standards
  • Provide professional development and coaching to teachers on STEM instructional strategies
  • Collaborate with district leaders to develop and implement district-wide STEM initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in STEM education and apply this knowledge to improve instructional practices
  • Work with community organizations to support district academic priorities

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education or curriculum and instruction
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation, preferably in a STEM field
  • Knowledge of state and national standards for STEM education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders
