Job Title: Senior Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Manager to join our team at LanceSoft. This role will support project and program controls, including building annual and future portfolios of work, actively monitoring the performance of the current year's portfolio of projects, and providing financial analysis and data to various areas of the organization.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role in our Project Management Office (PMO). As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Actively monitoring the performance of the current year's portfolio of projects and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Helping the organization understand which jobs are most critical to its success, ensuring the right work is completed, and staying on budget.
  • Analyzing current performance and needs of all projects to look for resourceful ways to balance the portfolio when projects shift off course.
  • Thinking through and making recommendations regarding which jobs may be deferred, what resources are impacted, which jobs are at risk, or if other jobs are impacted from a scheduling perspective.
  • Performing preliminary reviews of budget submissions and documentation, noting any substantive changes.
  • Providing financial analysis and data to various areas of the organization to assist in decision-making.
  • Preparing and distributing ad hoc reports related to project or portfolio data as needed.
  • Supporting senior/lead portfolio analysts with financial and project information as required.
  • Assisting in reviewing that company projects progress from initiation to closeout in a controlled manner.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to solve problems and work in a team setting on implementations.
  • Ability to organize data, report on studies in a logical and effective manner, and use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer applications and file organization procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Pivot Tables, Tables, and Database formulas within MS Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Working knowledge of MS Access and SAP Products is preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work closely with others in achievement of group and cross-departmental goals.
  • Proactive attitude toward learning and implementing change.
  • Extremely well-organized.

What We Offer:
LanceSoft offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
