Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact with patients and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of good relationships with the local medical community.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
