Job Description

Advanced Silicon Carbide Materials is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team in Lihue, Hawaii.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacturing of advanced ceramics, including silicon carbide, in a 24/7 multiple-shift plant operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CVD/CVC reactors to achieve Run Order objectives and customer order requirements.
  • Perform plant and support equipment maintenance and calibration routines.
  • Load and unload graphite fixtures and deposited SiC material.
  • Monitor reactor and support equipment performance during operation.
  • Provide continuous improvement to written standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED with applied technical training certificate.
  • 1+ years' experience in mechanics or other shop/industrial tool-related fields.
  • Mechanical aptitude with common electrical shop tools and hand tools.
  • Competency in writing and Microsoft apps skills.
