We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Autism Specialists to join our team at FullBloom, where we empower children with autism to reach their full potential.
About the Role:
As an Autism Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to preschool-aged children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Our centers in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions to clients with autism, focusing on positive reinforcement and skill-building
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for each client
- Collect data and maintain accurate records throughout each session
- Participate in regular training and supervision to enhance your skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or related field
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly autism or developmental delays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact professionally with children, families, and colleagues
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and complete physical demands of the job, including frequent sitting and standing, kneeling, and running with children
