Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Clayens. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of injection molding machines and plastic processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair injection molding machines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment to ensure compliance with plant and OSHA regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, other departments, and maintenance technicians to resolve equipment issues.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an injection molding technician with a strong background in troubleshooting and repair.
  • Prior experience with high and low voltage machine control system diagnostics and repair.
  • Industrial maintenance training or degree is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent movement from waist level to floor level.
  • Moderate physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position working on the 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm).
