Company OverviewWe are actively seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist) to join our team at a corrections facility in California.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in need.
Estimated Salary$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on license type and contract terms. Travel packages are also available for qualified candidates.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will collaborate with supervisors and treatment team members to provide high-quality care to inmates, including:
- Documenting all care provided, including face-to-face contacts and interdisciplinary meetings
- Monitoring inmate progress using approved documentation formats
- Conducting mental status exams and utilizing community standards and ethical practices in treatment modalities
- Assisting inmates in accessing entitlement benefits, community programs, and services
- Providing written reports and consulting with the Board of Prison Hearings
- Communicating with relatives/caregivers as approved by supervisors and with patient consent
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- 1 year of relevant experience
- A professional license in California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist)
- BLS certification, which can be obtained as soon as possible upon offer
