Job Description

At Sterling Engineering Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced control systems, including robotics, vision systems, and SCADA applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of control systems, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage projects to meet cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Identify and implement design and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in automation or controls engineering.
  • Proficiency working with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, mechatronics, motion control, vision systems, and programming.

Benefits:

  • $60-80/hr compensation package, depending on experience.

  • Up to 35% travel required for customer site visits and other locations.
