Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing of raw materials in accordance with specifications.
- Conduct in-process and finished goods testing based on ISO 9000 control plans.
- Perform equipment calibrations and maintenance to ensure instrumentation is in optimal working order.
- Report test data into NWA Quality Analyst SPC software and monitor for zone rule violations.
- Document raw material and finished goods data on job tickets and monitor for specification compliance.
- Assist in maintaining raw material and finished product retain samples.
- Support special testing requests for Engineering, R&D, and AT as needed.
- Update training to maintain proficiency in Main and Polishing Lab test methods.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in working in a chemical laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability to perform chemical testing using similar equipment.
- Able to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Strong computer skills.
- Good project management skills.
- Able to work 12-hour shifts with extended periods of standing or walking.
- Able to multitask and work under time constraints.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to test and report data with minimal errors.
