A challenging opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join the Avera Medical Group Neurosurgery Sioux Falls team in Sioux Falls. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical assistance to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures;
  • Perform various administrative tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing medical billing;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines;
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or diploma from a recognized Medical Assistant program;
  • National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA);
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in a similar role;
