You will work under the direction of an Attending Physician or a licensed independent practitioner and be responsible for providing care to patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technically complex and high-risk nursing care services to patients, including sedation, intravenous infusions, and complex procedures.
- Work under the direction of an Attending Physician or a licensed independent practitioner.
- Provide care to patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Accurately complete required patient assessment, documentation, and interpretations for each patient encounter.
- Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate actions and initiate appropriate life-supporting interventions while communicating appropriately with physicians.
- RN required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR, ACLS, and/or PALS certifications.
