IT Support Specialist for Healthcare Operations

Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. This role will provide fundamental functional and technical support for various applications to business and clinical users.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and provide technical support for assigned applications
- Collaborate with the user community to resolve technical problems and application performance issues
- Contribute to analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of assigned applications
- Assist with analysis and timely resolution of problems within software applications
- Provide support for maintenance and upgrades
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an information technology discipline or healthcare operations
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
Nature of Supervision:
The position provides support in a 24/7 environment and may require rotating on-call duties during off-hours, weekends, and holidays.
