Job Summary:

The Tractor Supply Receiver is a crucial role that ensures the accuracy and efficiency of incoming and outgoing inventory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and productive work environment, adhering to company safety training and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring accurate inventory control and adherence to loss prevention standards.
  • Recover merchandise and participate in mandatory freight processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including all merchandise displayed outside of the store.
  • Operate cash registers, computers, and other store equipment, adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure a Legendary customer experience by providing excellent service and support.
Requirements:
  • Experience in shipping/receiving, retail, or related fields is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with basic computer skills and math abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:

The working environment is generally favorable, with moderate noise levels. Work shifts may vary, with the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires a non-sedentary role, with the ability to move quickly and safely throughout the store and outdoor areas. Team members must be able to operate a forklift, push and pull merchandise, and lift up to 50 pounds.
