Job Description

Job Summary

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced DFT Engineer to join our team in Austin. As a key member of our DSP team, you will be responsible for implementing advanced DFT architectures and strategies on DSP cores. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including RTL, Synthesis, and Physical Design, to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced DFT architectures and strategies on DSP cores.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DFT designs.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in DFT tools and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of DFT strategy and roadmap.
  • Work closely with the RTL, Synthesis, and Physical Design teams to ensure DFT designs meet quality and performance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in DFT design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of DFT tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or Ph.D. in Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with Siemens Tessent DFT solutions and Synopsys FC tool.
  • Knowledge of ATPG and EDA vendor compression architectures.
