Job Overview

At Intertape Polymer Group (IPG), we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Packaging Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads and driving business growth through effective lead generation and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients within target industries and markets using various sources, including online research, industry directories, and market intelligence tools.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with the needs and pain points of potential clients.
  • Craft compelling and personalized emails to engage potential clients, showcasing our value proposition and encouraging them to explore our packaging solutions.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our ideal client profile, and gather valuable information to facilitate meaningful sales conversations.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospective clients and our sales executives to further explore their packaging requirements and present tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and activities in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to communicate lead insights, exchange feedback, and optimize lead conversion strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a B2B lead generation or sales role is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven track record of executing successful cold calling and lead generation campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in using sales tools and technologies.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Adept at conducting thorough research to identify potential clients and their pain points.
  • Ability to adapt to changing strategies and market dynamics.
