**Ultrasound Technologist Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient services using diagnostic ultrasound equipment and producing high-quality images for physicians to diagnose and treat patients.

About the Role:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages
  • Produce and analyze ultrasound images to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by assisting them onto the table and instructing them on the procedure
  • Select and record appropriate images for permanent documentation
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of sonography
  • Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or registry eligible
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
