Outpatient Therapist Opportunity

Northern Pines Mental Health Center offers a rewarding career as an Outpatient Therapist, providing mental health services to individuals in need.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee to join our Outpatient Team. As an Outpatient Therapist, you will work with clients of all ages, facilitating individual, group, family, and crisis therapies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating and co-facilitating therapy sessions for clients
  • Providing empirically-supported psychotherapy to address a wide range of clinical and behavioral issues
  • Conducting intakes, diagnostic evaluations, and updates to evaluations
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Completing behavior intervention and crisis plans
  • Assisting with third-party billing requirements
  • Collaborating with staff and community partners
  • Maintaining accurate written records
  • Providing crisis intervention services as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in a Behavioral Science field (e.g., Clinical Counseling, Psychology, Social Work)
  • A valid license in behavioral health without restrictions in the State of MN (LICSW, LPCC, LP, LMFT, NP)
  • Experience working with adults and children struggling with mental illness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license
