Job Responsibilities

  • Developing Personalized Lesson Plans
  • Implementing innovative teaching methods and technology to facilitate communication and enhance the learning experience for students
  • Regularly assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement and engagement
  • Collaborating with educators, support staff, and local education agencies to ensure inclusive and effective learning experiences for all students

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification in Deaf Education or a willingness to obtain certification in Oregon
  • Experience working with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, particularly in a remote learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and families virtually
