Leading Controls Systems Specialist for Commercial HVAC Projects

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Senior Controls Systems Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on commercial HVAC projects, leveraging your technical expertise to deliver exceptional results.
About the Job:
This position involves working with electronic and digital controls systems, ensuring customer satisfaction through direct interaction and providing mentorship to junior technicians. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing building control systems, as well as assisting in the design and configuration of HVAC control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and Commission Control Systems: Troubleshoot and repair complex control systems malfunctions, utilizing extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
- Mentor Junior Technicians: Share your expertise with junior technicians, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate with Customers: Work closely with customers to resolve building inefficiencies, providing solutions and outcomes that meet their needs.
- Document Project Progress: Compile job documentation, including certificates of completion, training forms, and punch lists.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Engage in self-study to improve technical proficiency in company product lines and complete certifications as required.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Minimum 6 years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry, including buildings, chiller plants, and systems.
- Education: Vocational school graduate, Associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
