Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor and Delivery department. As an RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the health and well-being of mothers and newborns.

**Job Summary:**

We are offering a 13-week assignment with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, ensuring a stable schedule for you to focus on delivering exceptional care. This opportunity allows for flexibility, with weekends included every 6 weeks, but no on-call requirements. You will work in a fast-paced LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit, maintaining patient ratios of 1:2 and embracing first-time applicants.

**Responsibilities:**

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery department, utilizing your expertise in fetal monitoring, labor support, and postpartum care.
  • Maintaining accurate records using Cerner charting software, which is preferred.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participating in mandatory orientation, including non-billable training and recorded modules.

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Possess BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced (including all 11 components), and Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certifications.
  • Have experience with vaginal exams, baby care, and deliveries (100-300+ births).
  • Be able to perform responsibilities within a Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma Center with a total of 412 staffed beds.

**Additional Information:**

Please note that this position requires COVID-19 vaccination compliance, including the booster shot, with no exemptions allowed. Additionally, pending licenses are not accepted. We welcome local applicants at the same rate and adhere to a return staff policy with a 1-year gap from previous employment at the facility.

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
