Job Title: Community Relations Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Community Relations Representative to join our team at PruittHealth. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business partnerships with referral sources to drive growth in our Home Health business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quarterly and annual territory plans to achieve budgeted targets.
  2. Analyze territory and establish sales goals in collaboration with the sales manager.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with referral sources through effective sales contacts, meetings, and presentations.
  4. Collaborate with PruittHealth Home Health staff to ensure effective communication with referral sources.
  5. Identify opportunities to collaborate with partners from other PruittHealth divisions to keep patients within our continuum of care.
  6. Build relationships with key referring physicians and identify opportunities to increase referral volume.
  7. Identify key referring personnel in hospitals, nursing homes, and managed care operations.
  8. Develop basic knowledge of insurance companies and other payer sources.
  9. Support and participate in promotional activities, sales campaigns, and other growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate principles of the sales process in a healthcare environment.
  • Manage a territory, conduct sales calls, and generate referrals through building long-term business relationships.
  • Develop clinical knowledge to support sales activities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with different disciplines in the healthcare field.
  • Identify and develop new referral sources.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (primarily MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable with virtual working tools and videoconferencing software.
  • Maintain professional and clinical competence.
  • Participate in center/agency surveys and reports.
  • Attend and participate in mandatory in-services.
  • Honor patients/residents' rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights.
  • Comply with corporate compliance program.
  • Report job-related functions/tasks that involve occupational hazards.
  • Follow established safety regulations.
