Global Printer Technical Specialist

In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in the execution of our product roadmap, directly impacting customer experiences with Markem-Imaje products. As a global printer expert, you will provide exceptional technical, application, and documentation support to the business. This involves collaborating closely with Product Development teams on existing product evolution and new product development, focusing on customer experience and serviceability.
Responsibilities- Deliver best-in-class technical support to the business across hardware, software, industrial integration, and application spaces.
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Contribute significantly to Product Development efforts, emphasizing customer satisfaction and system feature functionality.
- Provide problem resolutions for escalated technical issues from internal teams and international business partners.
- Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to identify corrective actions through root cause analysis, involving investigative lab work and testing.
- Maintain open communication with technical service, sales teams, and other key functions to share product knowledge.
This role may require domestic and international travel to support service teams.
Requirements- A minimum of 4 years of experience in multiple technical roles (technician or engineer) with direct customer interaction and cross-functional collaboration.
- High level of electromechanical aptitude, including IP networking knowledge, computer systems, and databases.
- Industrial integration and automation are highly valued skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to view challenges as opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of the organization.
