Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Avamere Rehab of Rogue Valley in Medford, Oregon. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement patient treatment plans, communicate with patients and families, and provide timely written documentation.

This is a full-time opportunity with flexible schedule options and opportunities for career advancement and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team
  • Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements
  • Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum
  • Able to practice unencumbered
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
  • Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
  • Full knowledge of resident's rights
  • Exudes professionalism in presentation
  • Ability to multitask
  • CPR certification
