We provide on-the-job training with no experience required for most positions. Cook Responsibilities:

  • Prepare hot and cold menu items, working on the grill, saut station, salad-bar, and service line.
  • Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes.
  • Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Senior Living is preferred.
  • Experience with production methods, portion control, and food handling safety is required.
  • Great organizational skills are a must.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
  • Ability to work weekends is necessary.
