Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Medical Imaging Department, communicating effectively with providers and other healthcare team members.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care needs of patients and families.
  • Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities, responding to hospital-wide needs and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care and performance improvement activities.
  • Act as a resource person for nursing staff and physicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Two or more years of recent critical care, ED, or Interventional experience required.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS and BLS certification required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
