National Sports Center Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Sports Operations Intern.

About Us:

The National Sports Center Foundation, located in Blaine, Minnesota, is one of the premier sports venues in the country. We host numerous events throughout the year, including the Target USA CUP soccer tournament, NSC All American Cup, DPL Finals, and other external bid events.

Job Description:

We are looking for an intern to assist in the administrative organization of our major amateur sporting events and projects. This includes tasks such as registration, volunteer services, housing, transportation, officials, activities, campus operations, special events, marketing, competition/programming, sponsorships, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Registration: Assist with event registration, including processing paperwork and communicating with participants.
  • Volunteer Services: Help coordinate and manage volunteers for events, including scheduling and training.
  • Housing and Transportation: Assist with arranging housing and transportation for participants and staff.
  • Officials: Coordinate with officials to ensure they have everything they need for events.
  • Activities: Help plan and execute activities for participants, including tournaments, clinics, and other events.
  • Campus Operations: Assist with day-to-day operations of the campus, including maintenance and upkeep.
  • Special Events: Help coordinate and execute special events, such as conferences and meetings.
  • Marketing: Assist with promoting events and programs through social media and other channels.
  • Competition/Programming: Help develop and implement competition and programming for events.
  • Sponsorships: Assist with securing and managing sponsorships for events.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organizational skills and a commitment to providing first-class service to our participants and staff.

Benefits:

This internship offers a paid stipend of $520 per week, based on a 40-hour workweek. Interns may also have the opportunity to stay in on-campus dormitory housing during their summer internship if needed.
